Hello Eric,

Please, take a look at this forum's thread. And also read this DecSoft's blog entry. Remember what you need is to be ready with Apache Cordova and the related software like the Android SDK.

Once you are ready with Apache Cordova, get our APK from a App Builder's application is quite easy: just executing the App Builder's generated "BAT" file.

I am not sure if this is possible and is only a suggestion, if there is someway to incorporate a tool into AB that would check to see if all components for Cordova compile are installed correctly.  Or even a separate exe that would check to see if all is good.

I say all that without knowledge of how difficult or impossible that might be on all computers.

Re: tutorial step by step build apk output in app builders

Hello Donald,

I think there is not an easy way to determine if all the required software has been installed. The Android SDK, for example, maybe we can determine if they are installed or not, but, how to determine if the correct stuff is ready to use? In other words, how to determine if the Android SDK have the appropiate stuff installed in order to get working with Apache Cordova?

In fact the Android SDK is one of the piece that cannot be placed easily in an installer (if this is possible by the SDK's license, which is something I don't know at this time) because we not only need to install the Android SDK, but, also, open the Android SDK Manager and install certain stuff (the API 23 currently, for example, and also some other libraries for Ads, etc.).

So maybe you have already installed the Android SDK, but, if you don't have ready to use the API 23, then you can't build applications using Apache Cordova, which require that API number in order to work. Honestly I think that take a look at how to install Apache Cordova and their dependencies it's not a bad thing. For example, Apache Cordova have plugins may want to use.

Then it's not a bad thing to familiarize ourself with Apache Cordova and their plugins, in order to extend our applications beyond the App Builder "out of the box" stuff. Anyway I recognize that just one installer can be very useful, but it's not an easy thing. In fact I don't know about any installer like that, maybe because their complexity, larger size, dependencies, etc.
