How to get current control focus?

Hello,
Suppose we have 3 input controls. Is there any way to get the name of control which has the focus?
Maybe an array of controls?

Thanks,
Leandro.

Re: How to get current control focus?

Hello Leandro,

Just right now I update App Builder in order to add a new app's global variable: "[App.ActiveControl]". This variable store the element's ID or Control's name which have the focus.

Please, tell me if this can help you.

Re: How to get current control focus?

Hi David,
Thanks for the response.
The app.Activecontrol seems to be exactly what I need.
However I could not test since the new version (2016.43) looks to be messing  the generated code up.
Even some samples are not showing the correct layout after compilation.

Leandro.

Re: How to get current control focus?

Hello Leandro,

Delete manually the compiled app's directories and try again.

If the problems persists, please, post here or contact me.

Re: How to get current control focus?

Hello again Leandro,

Certainly you are right: I just discover an introduced bug in the latest release which can cause some applications to not work propertly. The bug is fixed now, so, please, update your App Builder copy:
